PrintPack 2025: Erhardt+Leimer unveils automatic butt splicer-unwinder

Erhardt+Leimer (E+L) made its return to PrintPack India after a 15-year hiatus, launching its automatic butt splicer-unwinder and turret rewinder with a slitting option. These systems are designed for label and narrow-web printing machines, enhancing productivity and efficiency. The automatic butt splicer-unwinder allows operators to load rolls up to 700 mm in diameter without lifting equipment, using a load and lift slide system. Additionally, the system features automatic web alignment, ensuring consistent operation.
